3-Step Disciplinary System:

 

Step 1: “Instruction”

Verbal order

 

Step 2: “Command”

Verbal order ‘+’ threat of disciplinary action to be executed if verbal order is not followed

 

Step 3: “Punishment”

Execution of disciplinary action given in Step 2

Our 3 Step Disciplinary System is designed to assist parents in training children unto biblical obedience unlike secular Child Care Centers that train our children to obey commands, punishments, and threats that, even if obeyed, can never produce a biblically obedient child.

• We believe that biblical obedience is when your child obeys voice (NOT threats of punishment). 

• We believe if a child has to be firmly commanded (Verbal order + threat of disciplinary action) then they have already failed to obey.

*Before ANY commands or threats of punishment are given or executed each child will be given the opportunity to obey voice alone.  If voice is not obeyed then, and only then, will a command be given.  If command is not obeyed, disciplinary action will then be executed.

We believe this is the model our heavenly father uses to parent us.  Therefore, this 3 Step Disciplinary System will accomplish our ultimately goal which is to prepare our children to obey God’s voice.
