Word Walkers Curriculum

Galatians 5:16

I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.



The word ‘walk’ in this text comes from the Hebrew word peripateō

 

It means:

to regulate one's life; to conduct one's self; to live

According to this scripture the true definition of a believer is someone who regulates themselves, and conducts themselves daily by the Spirit.  This believer will experience the victory that Jesus died and rose to give us.  Now we know from Ephesians 6:11 that the sword of the Spirit is the word of God.

Word Walkers Paradigm Activity Example

Scripture Boxing:

In this activity, the name of the unclean spirit will be placed on inflatable punching bags purchased by Embrace child Care Center. Children will then be able to punch the punching bags and knock them down using boxing gloves with the overcoming scripture written on it.
